Mountain Stage: Celebrating 40 Years with Kathy Mattea

Coming from West Virginia, we grew up listening to Mountain Stage Radio Show on Sunday Morning radio. It was so cool knowing that a radio show, mostly recorded live in Charleston, WV broadcasted to 40+ countries around the world from our little state. To this day, no matter where we are, we find ourselves scrambling through the radio dial trying to tune in. Getting to perform was one of the highlights of our career.

For the first time in the history of Mountain Stage, they are broadcasting from the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center in downtown Clarksburg, WV and we are honored to be a part of it. It feels full circle for us to get to be part of this historic show in our hometown, the same town our ancestors discovered and built in the 1700’s. We are the last of the direct descendants to Major Daniel Davisson, which was awarded Harrison County for his efforts in the Revolutionary War – and you can throw a rock to the Daniel Davisson Cemetery from the stage. We can’t thank Kathy Mattea, Adam Harris and the Mountain Stage team enough for making us one of the many acts that will perform this day.
